Billing & Subscription
Manage your team's credit subscription, view your balance, top up credits, and access invoices.
How does team billing work?
WorkClaw bills based on credits, not seats. Your team subscribes to a credit package (monthly or yearly) that grants a fixed number of credits each billing period, plus optional one-time top-ups when you need more between renewals. There is no per-seat fee — you can invite the whole team at no extra cost.
See Billing Overview for how credits work, and the pricing page for the current tier prices.
Who can manage billing?
Only the team Owner can subscribe, change payment methods, and cancel. Members and Admins can see the team's credit balance and recent activity from the Billing tab but cannot edit billing settings.
Where do I find the billing panel?
Go to Settings > Billing. The panel shows:
- Your current available credits balance
- Active credit subscriptions with their renewal dates
- A Buy credits section for starting a new subscription or adding a one-time top-up
- A link to the Stripe portal for invoices and payment methods
How do I subscribe to a credit package?
In the Buy credits section, choose a tier and a billing interval (monthly or yearly), then complete checkout in Stripe. Credits are granted as soon as the payment succeeds — usually within a minute.
You can hold multiple active subscriptions at once if you want to ladder usage (for example, a base monthly tier plus a higher annual tier on top).
How do I cancel a subscription?
Each row in the Credit subscriptions card has a Cancel button. Canceling stops future renewals — credits already granted to your team stay available until you use them.
How do I add a one-time top-up?
Pick a bundle from the Buy credits section, or enter a custom amount, and complete Stripe Checkout. Credits land in your balance within a minute. There's no monthly commitment for top-ups; they're a single charge.
How do I update my payment method or download invoices?
Click Payment & invoices in the Credit subscriptions card. This opens the Stripe portal, where you can swap cards, view past invoices, and update billing details.
What happens if a payment fails?
Stripe automatically retries failed charges over the following days. During that window your subscription stops granting new credits at the next renewal, but already-granted credits stay available. Your Claws keep running until your balance is exhausted, then pause until a valid payment method is added.
